THE BAND

Rooftop Manor: Alternative Indie Rock

Rooftop Manor, formed in 2009, is an alternative rock band based in Long Island, NY. Its members consist of Marcus Tamkin (vocals, guitar, keyboard), Caleb Jenkinson (guitar, vocals), Cal Fish (bass) and Phil Gibson (drums, percussion).

The diverse musical backgrounds and interests of its band members give Rooftop Manor an eclectic sound, full of rhythmic and melodic brooding. They point to the varied influences of Radiohead, Chopin, Muse, The Decemberists, Sonic Youth, Arcade Fire, The Antlers, and Queens of the Stone Age, among others.

Rooftop Manor has just released its first EP, A New Kind of Silence. They recently performed at New York City’s legendary Bitter End and at the Knitting Factory in Brooklyn.
